THE DIARY GAME:HOW I SPENT MY DAY

in thediarygame •  3 years ago  (edited)

Today has been a very fruitful day for me. I said so because I accomplished so many things today. Among the things I accomplished are: First, Being a member of STEEMIT and Secondly, How I prepared my fufu (akpu as it is being called in Igbo land). I will share with us how I prepared it.

BEING A MEMBER OF STEEMIT

Before now I long for the day I will be a member of STEEMIT, but here I am now enjoying the happiness that comes from writing infact writing so many things thereby teaching other people a d learning from them. I can attest to what the Bible says at Proverbs 13: 12; Expectation postponed makes the heart sick, but a desire realized is a tree of life. In conclusion, my heart, my countenance is overwhelmed with joy and happiness.

HOW TO PREPARE FUFU (AKPU AS IGBOS CALL IT)

I will share with us how to make or prepare fufu. After harvesting your cassava from your farm, or you bought cassava from someone who harvested theirs, you peel it, wash it and then soak it in the water for 3 days for it to ferment. On the third day, you wash it out from the water and grind it. Once it has been grinded, it is set not for eating oooooo but for another level.

This level is when you take the quantity of the one you will be able to stire on the fire in a pot. When you put the quantity you want, you mix it with water to be a little bit watery not too watery neither thick. Then, you put it on the fire and stire it continuously (patiently stire it) until it forms to the fufu you want.

And then, it will be ready to be served
