THE DIARY GAME: SEPTEMBER 10, 2020: Life as an architecture student

Being in the course of architecture, it is hard for us to manage our time . We skip a meal just to finish the task and we barely have a good rest and enough sleep. Our time is too short that we need to rush things. Eventhough its hard for me I still love my course because I can create things and I love what I am doing: to create buildings and to create art.

By the way I'm new here just two days ago I just created an account

Some of you might think that our course is just drawing houss and planning but let me tell you something it isn't. When I first start the course we scrutinized our brains and brainstorm what is our course really is. At first I also that its just drawing and planning but a big RESPONSIBILITY is in our hand when building a structure. So we must plan carefully and critically to solve the modern problems that we might face specially in the future. We only not plan but we also consider certain aspect like the sun path and incorporate it with our design for example no one wanted to have a living room with too much sun for those tropical areas like us so to solve that we consider the living room the opposite of the sun path where enough sun can pass through. Not only our goal is to have a good plan but to ensure the safety of the people who are living with it. we also need to consider our environment in designing the structure since our green landscapes is continue to lessen it threathens the quality of air the surrounds us. So to have an efficient air quality we must preserve them by building a structure that optimize our resources and not harming our mother nature. One biggest things that we architecture is facing is some people are discriminating us because they are engineers who can replace us and with that our course can be diminished. Sad to say yes engineering can replace us but they won't know the pros and cons of having a background in the history of architecture because it will tell what is efficient and not when building and designing a structure.
