The daily diary game on Steemit

Today I got some exercise with an early morning walk.

To an empty park. Usually kids are playing soccer and baseball in this park, but now because of COVID-19 our parks are closed, so I could walk through it and around it by myself. Perfect social distancing because I was hundreds of yards from another human being.

But there were plants. Flowering trees, flowering bushes and fruit trees with large yield. They ignore COVID-19 :)

These are Red Hibiscus

These appear to be tomato’s

Those contain lycophene a micronutrient . I have read articles in healthy food section of grocery store which indicate it reduces risk of colon and prostate cancer.

These are green papaya

This tree was really loaded down with fruit. It a tall tree, so you need a picker. The green ones make a good salad, grated up and with vinegar and salt. Or let it ripen and the orange flesh is sweet and full of fiber, vitamins and nutrients.

There were trees with multi-colored leaves of red, yellow and gold.

These were nice, plus purple ground flowers and red bush flowers.

I climbed a hill to enjoy the view.

I hope you got a little exercise today. I like to get out into the woods to breathe fresh air and enjoy the beauty of the earth.
