Lakshmi Mittal who is also known as Steel Baron of India is the first Indian Businessman to feature in Forbes's top 10 rich list.
Born in a Marwadi family to Mohanlal Mittal. He completed his schooling graduation in Calcutta. His father had a steel businessman, Nippon DenroIspat. Mittal opened his first factory of steel in 1976 when he was just 26 years old.
• Mittal bought two steelworks which were at an enormous loss and Mittal turned them into profit just in a year.
• He started buying failing companies and with his winning management skill to bring those companies in profit.
• His daughter's wedding is the second most expensive wedding in history costing $66 million.
