I recently binge watched a new netflix TV series - The end of the f ** king world and I must say that this series will keep you intrigued just by its awesome performances.
Overview
The storyline is a typical stereotype breaker and focuses on the messed up journey of two teenagers with some psychological issues. The girl teenager persuades boy to take a road trip in search of her father. Along their way, they went through several mishaps and not to mention they were hiding their identities as they ran away.
What to watch?
Apart from amazing performances by lead cast, the screenplay was quite astonishing. The scenes depicted seemed quite intriguing and with the end of every episode there was always something to look forward to in next episode.
In this mini series, there were some amazing dialogues especially by the girl teenager. This black comedy not only make you wonder about your own feelings but also make you question about your present life. This series taught me that the satisfaction our desired destination will bring to our life is not always what we expected.
So, if you are looking for something different and meaningful then go ahead and watch this series.
What not so good about it?
Yeah, there were few things in this series that I believe didn't comply with the story. But all these things come from the creative minds of creators so we shouldn't complain about it. One of the few things was in episode 05 where James was in police station and after describing an old incident, he just leaves the police station casually and no one even notices.
Another thing was in episode 06 where the coworker of petrol station manager helped them in hope of joining them in their journey. When you will watch this episode, you will find it little absurd.
But inspite of these things, I don't think it will stop us to watch this show because this show is worth it.
My Recommendation
I highly recommend you to watch this show as its running time is small and you will find it is worth it.
The only reason you should not watch this show is if you don't like the black comedy or you are a very protective parent. Otherwise, watch this.
