@jason7282 shared a really cool article with us about comfy chairs being donated to Knox County Humane Society. It all started with a local plumbing and heating company donating a chair to start the trend. The Knox County Humane Society is home for 50 dogs and they currently have 22 chairs.

This could have been a pretty tragic situation for @coruscate but there is so much good in this story. She accidentally sent over 200 SBD to @skyleap instead of the 8 SBD she intended to donate to him for his artwork he created for her. They worked together like true Steemians and after she explained the situation he immediately returned the other funds. She then went and sent another 5 SBD to him as a gift for being AWESOME!

@lynncoyle1 shares some disturbing stories with us own the quality of care for pets. There are a lot of people who just don't care about their pets and don't treat the animals with the love and respect that they deserve. The part that makes her post such good news is that she is now making it part of her daily routine to feed of these dogs in her neighborhood and even treat one of the dogs with flea medication.

Another awesome initiative happening in Denver. This company "SCRAPS" has rigged up bicycles with electric assist and brakes to pick up compost scraps from apartment buildings. This is awesome news since it will dramatically reduce the amount of reusable waste that enters landfills and releases methane when we could be making soil. This is really good news guys. An app has been created to connect a community of allergy suffers together. This will help people who have an attack as someone will have the medicine that another person is in need of. It's an amazing idea and plan that will definitely help a lot of people.

Reading this brought a smile to my face, thanks for inviting and sharing more good news in the world! I especially was touched by hearing of the SCRAP initiative to put organic matter in its rightful place ( the compost ) and the app to connect ppl with proper medicines. More good news that the Internet and technology are making the world a better place .

I love this #goodnews gazette! I used to really enjoy reading a website called happynews.com and I was so sad when they stopped posting in 2013. 😭 I read and upvoted several of the articles in this post, and I will definitely follow along in the future! (FYI on one reference to #goodnews gazette in this blog post, I think you inadvertently used the @ sign, which tagged what I think is a totally unrelated blog. Just thought I'd let ya know!)
