Over the last few posts have briefly went over the surface of opinion from a few different perspectives. Just in general, a personal opinion, group opinion, your opinion and the value of all opinions voiced. My personal opinion is none should ever be silenced.

Giving value to an opinion, wow not an easy job. That is why I do not do the curating and leave that to those with a bit more knowledge. I would not be able to rank a post on its presentation layout or composition. The use of grammar or other forms I would not be able to recognise. The content is something again I cannot rank. People have an appreciation for different things. My opinion of something great to another eye could be a headache. Each generation of parents tells their children. That's not music, that's just noise. When I was a kid we had real music. The a song from the Beatles or Queen Maybe Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin goes on.

Different opinions can get along with each other. They can each go do their own thing and still have good relations with things they have in common.

On saying that though, I did try that with my nephew when he was a bit younger, playing a bit of queen so I would not have to listen to the kiddie song he wanted to listen to over and over and over. Turns out he liked Queen. Another one bites the dust. That had to be played over and over and over. Every time he came around for weeks. Sometimes an opinion can be just as painful if you try to form one for someone else.

I am forming the opinion that writing about the same thing for a week is not a good thing to try, unless maybe you have some thoughts pre arranged before you take on the task. We give advice to people, advice which we do not take ourselves. As I say not as I do.

Over the course of the last few months I have enjoyed hearing the opinions of many I come in contact with. One or two not so much, that would be the same for any circle. I delve sometimes a little more and try find out why they take that point of view. Sometimes the reason for doing something is not from an opinion. It can be after an evaluation. The evaluation may show where it is possible to gain an advantage. Doing so may conflict with a moral opinion. Leaving us with two of our own opinions opposing each other.

Even those opinions I have heard and do not align with my own ideals. I can still see the value of them and the reasoning behind them. On some fundamental level I can find a reason to agree with most. By both sides or more being shared about each opinion. We find ourselves seeing a common ground were each opinion might be able to complement each other. A shared opinion is the tapping on the door. If you are not prepared to open the door, you will never see the opinion. It might just be the general circle I am in at the moment. There seems to be a thick atmosphere of a change is needed in the atmosphere. There are many opinions on what can be done and the same for what can not. What needs to be done and would not need to be done. The whys if and maybes if all or part or none of these things happen. This not only helps resolve differences or correct errors. It also works to prevent some future issues as awareness is already there.

We have all heard the story of crying wolf I am thinking. To turn that on its head, by ignoring an opinion merely from where it came from can often lead to not hearing a solution. The same thing I say to everyone when I hear "My vote is not worth much" Every vote has an equal value, the value of each vote is equal even if not in reward scale. This is probably how it should be for other voting systems. It could mean a more equal representation opinion.

Again, this is just my opinion on opinions. It is not for or against anyone thing or entity.
I do hope you have found agreement, disagreement and self conflict in what you have read.
