Yeah... No. This is not what Atheism states.

I am an atheist and I believe that there was never a time of there being nothing. The universe has always existed and the big bang can be approached infinitely, but there is no point at which it is really nothing.

It's just like the function "y = 1/x"... Y approaches 0, but never reaches it. Just like our universe approaches nothingness as we go back in time, but it never reaches it!

I accept people believing in religions. It helps calm their minds and often increases their productivity. However, you really shouldn't start trying to mock on atheism, as it is the most likely-to-be-true believe in the world.

It's good to know there're exceptions which to confirm the rule, nevertheless today atheists like you're a minority, during Richard Dawkins & Co are a clear majority by atheists with all their statements, for which these people were so famous.
