Now you can study the development of fashion in a newly available digitized archive of Women’s Wear Daily, considered The Wall Street Journal of fashion. ProQuest is exclusively providing more than 100 years of fashion’s daily record in full image and full color, in its own database.

This resource will allow both students and teachers of fashion-related curriculum (and related studies) to explore trends and influences on the fashion and beauty industry, from 1910 to the present day.

What will it include?

Initially the Women's Wear Daily Archive will have issues from 1980 to 2012, with 100% completed content (with the full run of past print issues and supplements) anticipated in 2014.
Searchable access to the industry news, as well as display ads, classfied ads, graphics, photographs and illustrations, to allow for pinpoint searching.
The preserved fragile and hard-to-source materials, back to 1910 - all in one place.
Cross-searchability with the Vogue Archive (released in spring 2012).
