Easing into the muse. Easing into discomfort

Staring at that blank page before the first word. Looking over the piece of stone before the first strike of a sculpture. The work is sacred so only putting the true muse of passion into it. Keeping that focus. The musical works will be dealing with disturbing emotions and subjects but will still have to make it fun too! The world under current social conditions can be a disturbing place to be in.

A concept for a possible song that came up is - The Poverty Industry. Institutions that make money from others poverty This could include emotional poverty, psychosocial poverty, intellectual poverty. Keep people vulnerable and naive so there are more ways to make money from them. Oh and demand it be institutionally enforced and endorsed. Keep them emotionally weak so they become not expressive enough to really speak. Advertisements may insult your intelligence to make you believe you need a product cause your helpless. It can be a situational thing - imposed poverty. I thought of how in my situation if I had a few thousand I could get by for a few months but if I have no monetary cushion there is no way to float by for awhile. It actually costs more to be poor. In more ways than one. Of course just can't complain about the state of the world but hey I live in it too, can also offer solutions. Song ideas help me brain storm for sure!

Was going to get my ma to come down today for christmas but the roads were bad. Our family times are part of the story of my experience so was hoping to have some chats. She will come down when the roads clear. Am real glad she will be around when I start to create tunes for this project. 6.59Prime Excepted musical project.

It will be fun to put out some interesting mood scapes. Dealing with the discomfort and disturbed emotions will be the therapy. It will be a way to express and get ideas off my chest! Back in the day I did allot of drumming on the djembe. I still have one. I have some fun spastic dance moves as well. So I won't be making just experimental noise. It will be an element for sure. I do like drums and dancing. Although I did see a show without drums. Without instrumentation. It was danceable! It was the Saul Williams show when he toured with K-os. Saul did an entire set with just a mic and his poetry! It was amazing. I was dancing to it and a few others were too!

Finding the muse, easing into the discomfort. In other words I'm grumpy! and I'm happy about it!
