Hii people , hope you all are doing good this is my third shopping post and i am very happy to be in the wonderful platform as blogging was my dream and now it is made possible through Steemit. So today as the malls were closed due to lockdown i went to local market for shopping i purchased a pair of slippers for myself of RELAXO brand which is my personal favourite.
The cost of the slipper was ₹169 in Indian Rupees and 2.5 dollars in USD. The shop was a local shop
I also purchased a capree pant which cost me 3 USD and ₹250 in Indian Rupees .
As it was a local market the shopkeeper did not gave any discount but due to lock down i did not had any other option. So anyways i did my shopping . The Shop was two kilometres away from my house in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand in Telco area .
So The Cost of the bill was
SLIPPERS =₹169 in INR and 2.5
DOLLARS approx 12 STEEM.
CAPREE PANT = ₹250 in INR and 3 DOLLARS
approx 16 STEEM.
TOTAL =5.59 DOLLARS t. TOTAL STEEM =27.38
Well, USD rate is now more than 75 INR per USD. so that would precisely be 2.25 USD. No offence, just making a correction(a friendly one).
(169+250) INR= 5.59 USD(approx)= 27.38 STEEM precisely
By the way, Jamshedpur is a beautiful city, a hub of Steel industry with the likes of leading conglomerate like TATA Steel.
I have observed two different extremes in this lockdown. During this lockdown, the essential commodity prices have gone up whereas the other items(non-essential) e.g. garments have gone down. So the market segment has also gone for a big reset due to lockdown and prevailing uncertainty.

Hear also having same situation my friend. Big shops are closed so we buy our needs in near by shops only.
