Back to Bulldog Photography!
I have been getting rather carried away of late with abstract photography posts and thought I had better bring it back to where it should be focused... and that is with Beautiful Bulldogs!
Little Vinnie here is my neighbours French Bulldog, who I help out with whilst they are at work.
Vinnie and I decided that we would like to go for a woodland walk with my camera and do a mini photo shoot, with him as the subject. (Yes I have conversations with dogs... don't you?!!)
This particular photo (bellow) is edited using the kindly provided Lightroom preset that @derangedvisions gave to the pixel perfect community on one of our previous homework assignments. I rather like the effect...
Most people know that I have a passion for English Bulldogs (or as we call them in England simply 'Bulldogs'). But I also love little French Bulldogs too... in fact I don't think there is any breed of dog that I don't like!
There are a lot of negative comments thrown around about bulldogs 'not being able to walk far' or 'can't breathe properly'. Little Vinnie here is a testament to the breed and proves that they can be just as healthy as any other breed, with correct breeding practices in place.
We were out walking for a good hour and a half and he would have carried on if I hadn't taken him home! But I needed a cuppa tea and a biscuit by that stage.
I hope you have enjoyed our little woodland photo shoot. Vinnie and I certainly did!

I LOVE your water and other abstract photo's. I've just been falling behind in keeping up with all my favourites here on Steem with trying to settle into a routine.
With the new year approaching I'm hoping to address that as part of my Art Resolution for the year.
Keep photographing puppies but also close up of water, it is SO amazing. I might need to try some for background inspirations for paintings. I wonder if I can do it with my digital camera I already have?

I don't know much about the different breeds of bulldogs and don't really care to know if it is English or French or even Mexican (if there is a Mexican) I just like the way they look. They like like a little bad ass, in a good way.
Thanks for sharing, and your other photography is really good so don't get yourself trapped just shooting bulldogs.

Thank you for your comment about the watermark. I have had a few people mention to me recently that I should watermark my images but I hate to see 'COPYRIGHT' plastered all over an image and just a name feels a little cold to me.
I wanted something a little more personal and as I am always in my head imagining things, 'Cheryl Imagines...' seemed to fit nicely xD

Vinne is sure a cute dog and he looks really playful too, your neighbor must be really blessed to have him. Oh, you too are blessed to be able to hang out with him when they are no around.
I love how the photos of the dog looks so effortless and natural, he sure looked like he was enjoying the photoshoot and that just means that he has grown to love and be comfortable around you.
I agree with you on this, quality health care, right breeding practices and love ofcourse, goes a long way in bringing out the best in any pet.

I think that everyone should talk to their dogs. Especially, when they're about to decided where to go for a walk :D It's crucial to come to an agreement so that both parties are happy and satisfied ;)

I didn't know that there are talks about bulldogs not being to walk long distances and being out of breath. I have a few friends who own bulldogs and they never mentioned something like that. I can imagine that it really depends on how you take care of your dog. I can't imagine that entire breed is the same :)

Oh my goodness, Vinnie is the bees knees!! When Hubs and I had to say farewell to our little Moxie (our 15 year old pug...another short nosed breed...who was full of vim & vigor to the end!!) we considered a Frenchie. Of course we also would love another pug...we were blessed with a little surrendered Boston Terrier puppy 2 weeks ago!

Miss my little bullmastiff, under sized by half of what she should have been, she ran wild with with Great Dane companion, no problem with breathing after 2 hour beach walks.

What a doll! Oh he's so cute I could just squeeze him with a hug through the screen! You got some fantastic shots of him. I'm sure he's a good subject, but you've got some made photo skills. One of my friend's brothers has a French Bulldog. She brought him to visit when he was a puppy and we just loved getting to meet him!
