I have been a fan of the walking dead right from the very beginning and whilst there
are those that have become slightly weary of a few of the episodes particularly in the
last season --this season has made up for it.
Negan is one of the most scary characters ,not in walking deads history but certainly this season.
Whats more troubling about this particular finale is that practically all the "warriors" within our good guy
camp [rick and co] has been captured leaving the weakest of the camp to defend home territory.
I mean now the Priest is in charge of defending home territory. He has stepped up to the plate in many
ways as have many of the newest members of Ricks team-but I fear that they are not quite battle ready
against this new evil threat in the form of Negan
The ending where I think Rick is the one that gets chosen for a beating is truly horrific-only blood splatter
is shown but still it manages to convey a real terror. The build up to this scene was slow and gradual and
as far as I could see quite unexpected.
**"There are plenty of ways to get to where you're going"**
was the expression we were meant to remember. Except of course they had exhausted every route/avenue
there was to get help for our pregnant friend. So in the end they kneeled vulnerable and scared......
I am on the edge of my seat for the new season to begin
