Spiritual thought: Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy. Proverbs 29:1

The Holy Scriptures in the sapiential books teach the importance of seeking advice and wisdom in all decisions; because there is a truth that is inevitable, small mistakes can cause big disasters in the end, the decisions that men make have progressive effects with results that are difficult to anticipate.
People who make decisions following their passions and passing whims are subject, not only to the progressiveness of their decisions but also to the law of sowing and harvesting, that is why there is a saying that takes these two problems into account: "For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind." Hosea 8:7.
Wisdom as a science is essential to avoid destructive unforeseen events, that is, the famous "stumbling blocks" of the Bible, which in most cases lead to the failure of all the proposed objectives. This is why the Bible gives to men some valuable practical advice to take into account: "For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers" Proverbs 11:14.
And to further deepen this knowledge, the Bible leaves us with a spiritual thought from another perspective, the fool condemns himself for his own errors: "Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy" Proverbs 29:1.
And there are many stories in the Bible that show the weight of this teaching, when Moses confronted Pharaoh to free the Israelite people from oppression, the Pharaoh responded with a hard heart to Moses. And Pharaoh paid for his own foolishness, that is, his pride; the Pharaoh died when he was pursuing the Israelites during the crossing of the Red Sea, drowned by the waters that returned to their channel. Pharaoh was reckless when he pursued Moses and that was his stumbling block. The Word of God invites men to seek wisdom because happiness and long life are found in it.
