Wes here, on #thoughtfulthursday... created by @merej99; although my MS is flaring up, and my grandson was almost admitted in the hospital with asthma yesterday... and it’s raining! Just as things seem to be taking a turn for worse, a little sun is there to brighten my journey here in the Steem'verse... and brighten my day!
As I log in today, I see GINAbot has a wonderful message for me... @arcange has informed me that one of my posts was mentioned in the "Steem Hit Parade For Newcomers"... you might think...
Is that something to be excited about?
The answer is... YES!! Being noticed by a member that's been around for some time, provide quality content, and takes the time to give you a "shout out"... is a very big deal!! If you'd like to see more on what I am talking about, Take This Taxi and see for yourself...

By now, I hope you all have started hearing about the #steemterminal, as well as the @heyhaveyamet initiative... members taking the time to greet brand new Steemians... then going even farther, and creating a Discord Group that provides a PLETHORA... say it again... SO....wow; just when things seem to be just plain old crummy, positive energy hits you like a mack truck!
