Food is literally and figuratively "life" for me. Of course, it's obvious that we need food to survive because if we don't eat, we'll get sick or worst, we'll die. That's why the food we put in our bodies is so important. We cannot ignore the nutrition that our body needs. Our diet needs to be balanced, with carbohydrates, protein, vitamins, minerals, and dietary fibers to make our body's nutrition complete.
For me food has another function for me, it is to revive the spirit of my being. For me, food is also a way for me to be motivated to face challenges in life. That's why there is something called "stress eating" because when a person is stressed, he eats to relieve the stress he feels.
I've been through this, there was a moment in my life when I really gained weight because I was stressed from my job, that's why I was always looking for something to eat. It helps my motivation to keep going but one problem is that I gain weight, haha. I also stopped working during that time so I really gained extra weight.
That's why if I ever go back to that lifestyle, I will make sure that I will focus on my health so that my lifestyle will be balanced.
