This everyday feeling

Dear Steemians,

Today I want to story-tell a little tale of life. When you read it you will say "Yeah, that happens to me everytime."

The story:

Today I was trying to prepare documents for an appointment to take place next week in France. Since I do not have much time left for prepping I decided to use the opportunity today in order to get well-prepared. For some reason I was already looking yesterday afternoon and sorted the mess out in order to see whether I would be able to find the files required.

The result was not great to say the least but it did not keep me from staying focused and did not really cost much nerves in this way. I was focused on a way finding the documents or getting them in the best possible way. I tried to get them from the website of the appropriate institute and there were connections issues to the website I guess their server did not work out properly since all the websites I consult are working out properly.

At a given time I decided to send an e-mail to the rep. of the company I know I cannot really rely on to get a quick response. So I decided to find an alternate way to get what I need. I used the app of the company through my smartphone and checked out the files there and Oh! Surprise. I found the needed documents and were able to send them to myself in order to print them out. So the rep. proves to be useless as usual.

So now my print outs are complete and it is already a great point in the prep.

Thinking of my reaction a few years back:

I would have been very angry and ready to destroy my laptop and whatever EMD was there when things would not work.

I am glad that I get a cold-headed attitude in order to run my stuff and find a work-around solution in order to get what I need. I guess this is how most people would react.

One of the point is that emotions do not have really place when it is about technology and we have to find a way solving problem in a different way.

This is the end of the story and I wish you a lovely night.

Yours
