(28.62) TIB wants to question Parliament: Hasan Mahmud
Awami League publicity and publication secretary Hasan Mahmud has alleged that TIB wants to question the parliament. On Friday (May 18th), he made the accusation at a discussion organized by the Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote on the occasion of the returning home of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the National Press Club.
Food minister Kamrul Islam, general secretary of the Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League Shah Alam Murad, filmmaker Sarah Begum Kabri and joint general secretary of the organization Aruna Biswas were present in the discussion while Joint Adviser Chittaranjan Das chaired the meeting.
Hasan Mahmud said that the TIB published the information that the amount of 125 crore was wasted due to the quorum crisis in the 10th Parliament, it is much less than the other countries in the world.
