What Is Tierion Network Token (TNT)

TNT is an ERC20 token based on the ethreum blockchain. Tierion aims to utilise blockchain technology in order to verify data/file and processes. Tierion’s API allows user to anchor time stamp proof to the block chain. Real world applications already include Accredible, which have issued thousands of digital credentials using the platform, as well as IDEO a car manufacturer, who can identify/track auto parts. Incentives of holding TNT (Proof of Stake)

Tierion allows you to stake your TNT, in order to earn rewards (in the form of TNT). If you decide to run a node, currently the minimum stake requirement is 5000TNT, with a reward of 500TNT given randomly in a lottery every 30mins. This is still in the testing phase, and node registration is currently locked at 800 nodes, with about 300 spots being opened up every 2 weeks as the network expands. These nodes are used to secure the network.

We are currently waiting for a roadmap to be released from TNT, however it is important that the product is operating without any flaws. The node testing phase is expected to last for several weeks. Wayne Vaughan (CEO) and his team are hard at work insuring stability/upgrades of the network. I look forward to seeing how the project blossoms in the future.
