This cat village existed on an island in Inle Lake, Burma (Myanmar). Burmese kitties roam freely in protected Burmese Cat Village on. Part of what they do is caring for Burmese cats. After the population dramatically dropped post-World War II, this cat island has been running since 2008 to help bring the Burmese breed back to Burma (Myanmar). Visitors can play with the kitties during visiting hours each day.
Cat Island sounds like a dream come true to us!
