Tiger
The tiger is a mammal, and it's a large one. This member of the cat family is one of the most recognizable animals on the planet, both for its distinctive striped fur and its intimidating size.
It is territorial and generally a solitary but social predator, requiring large contiguous areas of habitat, which support its requirements for prey and rearing of its offspring. Tiger cubs stay with their mother for about two years, before they become independent and leave their mother's home range to establish their own.
The Adult male Tigers can weigh up to 90-310 kg with and the females can weigh as much as 65-170 kg. The height of this majestic beast is around 0.7m - 1.2m.
