One song in particular that sounds much better with a woman's voice is The Scientist. It's not that Coldplay is terrible, it's just that it sounds much better with a feminine voice. (And that is not to say that Chris Martin's voice is too masculine.)

This "Gabriella" has a great voice that's reminiscent of Dolores O'Riordan - the awesome lead singer of The Cranberries. If you're too young to know who The Cranberries and Dolores are, then you've got some Googling to do. They had some really good songs in the 90s. I'll get you started on your journey...
In any case - sorry, Coldplay. Gabriella does your song better than you. That's just my opinion though.

I completely disagree. Chris pulls this song off perfectly, and I think the song sounds better with a deeper voice.
One of my favorite songs from coldplay so I personally cant see anyone pulling it off better than the original... My opinion tho.

Gabriella rocks it. But I still like the original better. My husband likes Gabriella a lot too...maybe more. Also, though, you can't top what Coldplay did with this video. I mean, he had to sing the entire song backwards to make the effect he did. And it totally looks like he was naturally singing it. Props to Chris Martin.
