Hello everyone, most of you don’t know where this place is, but I’ll guarantee, you will love this.

Sarangani Bay Festival, also known to the locals as Sarbay Fest, is an annual event in Sarangani Province. The festival is held on every third week of May.
Arguably the most popular beach event in the southern region of Philippines’, Sarbay festival is a must attend for many tourists. The festival attracts both locals and foreigners to an outdoor event like no other.

Last 2017, the Sarbay Fest were cancelled due to the declaration of Martial Law here in Mindanao and also for the sympathy to our fellow Filipinos in Marawi. But hello! Sarbay Fest is now ready this 2018!

Sarangani Bay Festival 2018 Schedule of Activities

As is expected, the outdoor event is characterized by an array of adrenaline-packed events to keep the whole family engaged. Take a wet adventure and enjoy a thrilling boat race with the locals, a sport known as the lumba bugsay. You may also choose to go skim boarding for the thrill of a lifetime.

If you prefer to stay at the beach, take part in a game of beach soccer, or try out your skills at the volleyball section. Other tourists choose to take part in the eccentric beach fair, while a good number head to the sand sculpture contest.

For tourists who do not mind flaunting their toned bodies, the place to be is the Bay Bodies Bikini Open. Other activities include the amazing bike ride and the vivacious cheer dancing contest. As dusk approaches, many tourists prepare to take part in the summer night beach party under the starry sky.

Other highlights that you need to be on the lookout for include the all-night concert by the beach, one which brings the best local acts in Philippines. The 2014 edition of Sarangani Bay Festival is touted to have attracted a hundred thousand tourists, making it a huge success, and perhaps one of the most seamless events at the beach.

There is absolutely no reason why you should miss out on this festival whenever you are in Philippines.
