It seems fitting to store this memory in an immutable blockchain as a time capsule of my love. And my life's an open book @superstar... whoever that is. The truth is, I started to write a poem about my mom and then I realized I already had... it's this text and I need to share it with the universe... cause these are the things that aren't usually shared.
These are the screenshots followed by a transcription (since the pictures aren't actually stored on the blockchain).

Hey mom, I hope the appointment goes well today. If there's one person in my life who I know has the capacity to possess great faith... It's you. But I know that sometimes when you feel like you're in the 1% of the unfortunate, it's hard to remember, so I'm going to remind you, like you've reminded me so many times. God wants you to make a full recovery from this, he just needs you to believe it with all your heart, and not doubt it at all, I'm talking about ridiculous, illogical, almost giddy faith. I truly believe that the healthiest days of your entire life can still be in your future, but it's up to you to believe it, not anyone else. Be thankful for the health you have today and know that each day it's getting better, despite what anybody else thinks or says. Listen to the doctors, let them do their thing, just rest into the process, and know quietly in your heart that you are on your way to a full recovery. And whenever you are doubting or you find yourself thinking negatively or you need a pep talk/napkin talk lol, just text me the words "napkin talk". I guess we've come a long way from napkins with all these smart phones... but it's the same thing really:) You're actually in the 1% of the fortunate, it just really hard to see right now, it's your faith that puts you in that 1%. Fix your mind solely on that, step up and be God's example of a miracle, focus on giving love to others, be thankful everyday, and enjoy the ride. Great times ahead!!!! Love, Dan
Dan thanks so much for your encouragement a nll
And love. It means do much to me
It's a very surreal feeling when a text conversation abruptly ends forever. Last words used to live on in people's memory, but now they live on in old iphones and blockchains.
ps. I not looking for any sympathy here. This post is merely a small window to the human experience. We all live and die. It's the most natural thing of all. Not good or bad. It just is. No condolences please. If you want to leave a comment, don't worry about being polite... and say what you're really thinking.
I finally found the missing piece, constantly wondering who this superstar who never posted was. To be honest, thought it was a girl, my first hint it might be you was a poem called Party Shelter :)
. It's shitty people have to die, but your part of the fortunate 1% who took the time to tell your mom how much she was loved while she was still alive. It's a beautiful tribute.
