This is a quote that is interesting. We have all heard the fact that time heals all wounds, but that doesn't have to be true. This quote of the day actually contains some information that is vital for the more famous quote to be true - you have to move on together with time.
If you live in the past and licker your wounds every single day, you will not really move on, and time might not even heal those wounds. You can still complain and feel terrible because you lost your job ten years ago, and you might hold anger against colleagues that hurt you 20 years ago. How do you know that you are living in the past? If someone mentions it or whenever you speak about the colleague, the former employee, a former friend, or whoever - you still show the aggression that you had back then. The wounds are so alive in you, that you cannot think about it and speak about it, without getting angry and irritated.
If that is you, then it is probably time to move on. Let go of those wounds. Don't sit down and licker them in the mud, but jump out of the mud, forgive those who have hurt you, and move on! The next time you think about those persons, you might not be happy, but you should be able to smile and laugh at it, knowing that you have moved on, and it has all somehow helped you end up stronger than you were and if it hadn't happened to you!
