So, you call someone, its a company and they put you on hold for like 30-minutes, and you're furious because you don't have time to wait.
So, they say, "Time is Money", right? I have realized along my journey, "look I need a lot of time". Some people say, "Time is an illusion", but in this man-made world, time is very real. And a lot of us, we get caught up in time's trap. We don't do what we love, we end up waking up in the morning and just checking Facebook. That's the sum total of our day.
Don't worry about it. It happens to people, right? So let's talk about the things that are eating up your time and how to hack them to get more time.
1. Not eating healthy foods.
First, I am going to tell you, what used to eat MY time a lot, and it used to be being in the toilet a lot. I used to be stuck on the toilet about 4-5 years ago, for a long time. Because I was eating all kinds of toxic, junk foods with no enzymes. And then I realized that it was eating up a hell of a lot of my time. [Sobbing] The whole time I was on the toilet. I could have been doing the most important work in that time frame.
So, a lot of us don't realize that if you don't have time for good nutrition and healthy food, you're going to have lots of time to stay on the toilet.
Acai Powder: This helps you save time. It is full of fiber, iron, calcium. It's going to help you digest all of that junk out of you, and that way you can come and see Ralph on the beach. You also get anthocyanins, resveratrols and it helps you fight free radicals, cancer.
A lot of us don't take a food health seriously, that's why we got a lot of time to sit on the toilet. So, eat well, to not eat time up, to create more time.
2. We do multiple things all at once.
Along my journey, I understood that I am a person that loves to do so many things at once. I am a multi-tasker, and that is a recipe for disaster. Yes, we can multi-task, but that really eats our time. We might think that we are doing multiple things at once but in reality, we are over-complicating the task at hand. Relax, take it easy, and make it simple.
To finish your work early and go to the beach with grapes in your mouth, you have to keep whatever you do very simple because simplicity is the highest form of sophistication. You see, when you're first starting something, you want to leave an impression, you want to be a perfectionist. Nowadays, me and the cat down the road, we don't care [giggles]. It'll do, right? It'll do. And, because of that, your life becomes so much more fulfilling. A lot of us over-complicate our life this way.
This is what we do when we wake up. We wake up and we get to a gadget, may it be a computer, smartphone or a tablet. The first thing we do is check notifications of people we don't really know in the real world, and we are pressing buttons as soon as we wake up. So, that eats your time. I have seen that along my journey, and that is why I have been turning my phone off, for 1 hour. But, you see that's really hard to do because this technology is a wonderful tool, but a lot of the time you should ask yourself, "What am I doing with this technology?", "Am I on Facebook, eating popcorn and scratching my nuts?", "or am I actually using social media to create a massive impact, tsunami, tidal wave that really sets the whole world on fire." If it is so then it's more understandable. But, a lot of us, we get caught up, always checking the notifications. That is really eating a hell of a lot of your time. I don't even check my emails first thing in the morning. I do it when most of my important work is done and then I check them for like 10-15 minutes and then delete all of them [just kidding].
3. Not doing what you really love.
A lot of us are in a job for the check. You are hanging around friends just because you don't want to be alone. When you don't do what you love, and you are not in circumstances and situations where you're really engaged in it, your time gets eaten away. Buddha said: "The problem is you think you have time."
For example, one of my friends, he was driving. He headed to the destination so early that he thought he has got plenty of time. Suddenly he turned his car abruptly and a sound came from one of his car's tire. And he got stuck there literally for hours. So, therefore you should never rest on your laurels.
4. Not holding to any grudges
You have been holding to that grudge for a year now, you are not talking to that person. Why? because they stepped on your shoe? I get it, it's annoying. Don't worry about it. We hold on to petty grudges, but we should look at the bigger picture. I am Libra, and we Libras can naturally see the bigger picture, I am being biased [laughs]. When you start seeing the bigger picture, you start to realize that you are here on planet earth for a very very short amount of time. Even if you were to live for 500 years, that is nothing but a drop in the ocean. But, a lot of us don't really get that and hold on to grudges for things like, not answering the phone or replying on time.
We have a great chance and opportunity to really make this world into "Charley and the chocolate factory". (This one is for you guys @haejin and @berniesanders.) Where there is chocolate everywhere. It is like a magical world. You go outside and someone handing you a bar of chocolate. I love watching that film and it's just so magical. Imagine being in a massive place where there's chocolate everywhere.
When you realize that "Am I going to be the peacemaker, or am I going to create a lot of problems", because what I have realized that it eats up a hell lot of your time. I don't have time to think about people who are not serving me. I am only focusing on those that love me, the deep divers that connect with me, the people that love me. I love you too guys.
We are going to have a party and say to each other "I love you". But you don't want to do that because you spent an hour thinking about a person who doesn't even care about you. So your time gets taken away. People say "Time is Money", it is so true, that's why what happens when you connect with people who you resonate with, you start getting a whole lot of money.
5. The Waiting
Waiting used to eat up a massive chunk of time out of my life. A lot of us get caught up in living someone else's life. And that really eats up a hell lot of your time. Waiting in the waiting room to meet someone to just talk about something important. But don't worry. There is always enough time to turn the car around, it is never too late, but at the same time don't think that you got a lot of time in the world because sometimes it is.
A lot of people, when they are like 60 or 70, they have a lot of money, they want to travel, but they can't because they got back problems. You want to do it right now. Don't listen to your parents telling you to do this and do that. It's your life, do what you want with your life. Listening to your mums sometimes is not bad either but at the end of the day, listen to your heart. You do not want to get stuck waiting to act just because someone else has told you about the life you should be living.
We came to planet earth to have fun. We came to planet earth to be free. We came to planet earth for our time not to be taken away from us.
I hate to wait for people, its so tiring and annoying especially if the person is taking so long.

Thanks for sharing, I always knew these things but never worked on them to make them correct and gain time to do stuff I love.
