Time Is Money... WRONG!

Oh how those words really grind my gears!

My husband used to say that all time. I would yell back at him - NO IT IS NOT!

The way I see it, is time is all we have. Yes it does sound like 'time is money' when I say we can spend it but quite honestly, it was given to us, a very special gift, to use wisely and not waste it like we do money.

Time is the only thing we have but do not own. When I say 'it is my time to do as I please', I does say that I took the time to do what I needed but it also means that it was given to me to allow me to do what I need to. Does this make sense?

Time is of the essence.

That means that there is little time to get something done. But if you think of those words differently, in my honest opinion, it is for everyone. We always have little time for everything, and the older we get, the more time flies and the more we see that our lifetime was and is of the essence.

Time is everything! Everything takes time. Time to grow, time to eat, time to sleep, time to work, time to spend with others and ourselves. So how can one really think that time is money? There is no gratitude and satisfaction from applying those words. If we do, we lose track of real time, meaning we lose track of the time that is not ours, time with our loved ones. We lose. We miss out on everything. Missing milestones with our children, their time. Events filled with fun and laughter with our loved ones, their time... Until there is no more time.

It is so important to see time for what it really is and apply the time we have together and make the most of everything.
I have often said, thank you, for the time someone gives me as it is so precious to give. It is priceless as time is always ticking.
Right now all my time is given towards my children to help them grow as a person as it is their time that is most important right now. Very little of it do I spend for myself. And perhaps one day more time will be given to me to spend towards myself, my husband, my friends.

Right now we see time as day and night but that is only a fragment of the whole picture, it continues on with or without us, so now is the time to see it the right way and stop saying 'time is money'. Take the time we have been gifted into our hands and do with it what is most important. See the truth and use it to your advantage.

Lost in Time
There were times
When I loved Tomorrows
Than Todays
But when those Tomorrows have become Todays
And had become Yesterdays,
