Yes, time management is an odd skill.
I started timing my tasks around two years ago, things I didn't like doing I'd tell myself to do them for no more than X amount of time, things I very much like doing I'd tell myself the same - no more than X amount of time. It's odd, but it works, I fee much more concentrated with everything I do regardless of my initial feelings towards it.
