Let's do a thought experiment:

Imagine you have invented time travel.

You decide to take 1000 of your companions into the past to alter history. The ones you are taking are moral people who understand and live by Natural Law and you trust them with your life.

Your destination in time is the year 800 AD. The place is an unoccupied 256,000 acre piece of land in medieval England. (400 square miles in a 20 mile x 20 mile square) The nearest castles are at least 20 miles away from the edge of your land.

Your goals: #1 establish a stateless, voluntary society. #2 rebuild technology to the current level we have in 2016.

Each person is able to take back a 40' shipping container filled with supplies. So you get 1000 shipping containers total filled with whatever you may want or need.

So...

I want to know, what supplies do you take with you (tools, raw materials, etc) to accomplish those two goals? And what is your plan of action once you've arrived.

Assume all your neighbors are hostile and barbaric and will murder you or enslave you as their serfs if given the opportunity.

Bonus question: What do you think is the minimum amount of supplies required to accomplish those two goals?
