Intervention of Me by my Past and Future Self-Part 2

As my future self and I sat sipping on tea, we begin to talk. First, she answered a lot of my questions. And then she said, “Now these are the things I came to share?”

First, You are too emotional and it has cost us big time.

You have got to reserve our energy it is a precious commodity you know. Stop reacting every time someone pushes one of your ‘wrong buttons’.

Quit taking things so personally. 

Create a mantra for us at your age. Something that will convey to you the fact that, 

“It ain’t that deep.”  This is the mantra I created since I left your age and time.

“I am above and beyond being bothered.”  You are welcome to use it.

Spend more time loving self…our self

Do more pampering of us, we deserve it.

You live life outwardly too much. It’s time to start taking that journey within.

When you do tap into that Zen place, oooh wee! Life will change suddenly, and you will be closer to where we are now. Don’t you want to be closer to me? I’m looking good and living good.  You seem to be doing okay but in many ways you at a standstill.

One thing you got going for you, your heart is pure. Keep that. Let no one shatter your heart into a million pieces. You right now have the good ability to still love life and no matter what a person does to you WOW you just keep on loving and caring.  Your energy compassion and love extend beyond people to all of life, nature and, animals, which means you are still connected to the source of all things.

These are some more things you need to stop doing and I do say this with love.

Stop, Wasting Time and Procrastinating. 

Get out of your head and get stuff done. Remember proper timing is so key to what we can get done in this life. If our timing is off, we may miss all kinds of opportunities, divine connections, investors, sponsors, trains, planes and everything else because we are out of step out of tune with the rhythm of life, for us. 

Stop, not taking our gifts seriously, and not having a life plan. 

Get into visualizing what we want and go out and make it happen.

Stop making bad choices with money and men. 

Now all of this part goes without saying.  It's not like we were always broke. Many times we had money. And we could have taken that money and made more money but we chose to spend it for what we wanted in the moment instead of investing it for the future. 

And as for the men, we remember how mean our father was. 

You would think, that we would see men with that personality trait coming a mile off, but for some reason, we did not and over and over again we attracted men to us that were mean to us as well. 

Which means we need to take a deeper look at ourselves and see what in us has continued to draw those men into our life. I am happy to say from a future standpoint we did solve that problem. But just be wiser and do not close the door to the possibility of finding true love.

Stop being afraid to live our dream. 

In the future, you came to realize that if you can dream it you can have it. You are just as worthy as anyone else. So. stop selling us short. Dream bigger and dare to follow the path to make those dreams come true.

I’m happy to report that the dream we wrote about in the letter as our 17-year-old self, has come true. At our future self, we are no longer living paycheck to paycheck, or spending our days doing stuff to make other people and companies rich.  We are doing us. We are living an abundantly rich life. A life that has come to past in my future timeline, we could still have and become abundantly rich 15- 20 years earlier. You can make that happen for us now. 

So, write the books.

 Be that phenomenal Spiritual/Metaphysical Life Coach/Teacher/Speaker/Healer that you have in you to be. All of these things are your life work, your purpose, just lying dormant waiting for you to wake up and be.

Create the products, including the beautiful handcrafted greeted cards and order wholesale the products we don’t make and get our gift business up and running. And that’s all I’ve got to say.

Ok, we have talked enough. That tea was delicious, we still make a good cup of tea in the future too you know. 

Throw on something so we can get going. Said my future self.

“Go where?” I asked.

"Time to travel, to take the trip we’ve been putting off for thirty-something years," said my future self.

I can’t travel, I don’t have money for a plane ticket and nothing decent to wear.”I said.

Oh, we can stop on the way and make a quick change, all your bags are packed I went shopping for the thirty-something you and the future me.

“But how did you know what to get, What I may have wanted to wear?” I said as I hurried to the bedroom to get dressed.

I will never forget my fashion choices in my thirties, my future said.

As we walked out the door my future self-said. “I need you to relax. In time we will have all we need. and many of the things we always wanted because you’re ‘gonna’ catch up with me real fast.” 

“Where are we going?” I asked. 

“Oh, that’s the good part. Sweden here we come!” my future self -shouted. 

“You paid for a trip to Sweden?” I asked in total surprise. 

“Yeah I did, Oh you ‘gonna’ pay me back, Absolutely and No doubt about that!” She said adamantly as we headed to the driveway. And surprised I was again as I peered at the beautiful and luxurious 2020 Jaguar parked in my driveway. And I smiled and whispered softly, “the car of my dreams.”
