Hol-ee-faq this bot code better be widely used and abused else I'm going to turd me knickers & truffle shuffle to the nearest tall building and make like superman.. XD

Tippy voting is being worked on at the moment.

Debating adding a pay per vote with 1 free tippy vote a day per user at a random %.. What you guys/gals/folks think?

Sounds good. I wish more bots did a random vote here and there. The distribution of the reward pool is so predictable. We are getting more visibility and rewarding all the same people every day, looks scammy and like exactly what the outside world thinks of us.

It makes more sense to give a random wieght freebie... ANd if people want more allow them to.. And of course undercut everyone else... :D

If it's done right it shouldn't be subject to abuse.. Nor should it be a "pay to win" situation. :)

I do like the idea of having some per day limitation. Prevents spammers from trying to game the system.

Would you think that penalizing or flagging would be abusers is a decent design or would that be overkill?

Say a person spams the vote 3 times in a minute or so a flag would hit them on the call rather than the vote being cast.. PLaying with the idea but need community feedback before implementing.

I assume people can use it to vote on other people.

I say as long as person trying cast the vote is one being penalized.

I think it be hilarious if it also gives them a random comment back for their fuckery. “could you stop up voting your shitposting for 5 secs already”

Or some kind of random event one of those “I’m telling my dad on you” since it is your bot son. Then it alerts you and you come in maybe fire a few cannon shots at them if its warrented when you get some time hehe.

I think there could be a lot fun in this. It’s going be very existing seeing this evolve over time!

Interesting idea, I'm not sure it solves the core problem however.
"handouts" from tips or whales will not grow the base number of steemians.

Flip the rewards pool so authors get 20% and the "audience" share 80% (or even 10/90) and you will have a winning formula IMHO.

Authors will earn via "volume" and each "stage performer" (good quality posts also) will have an audience. (instead of current model where everyone is expected to perform - large % crap posts)

Have you been to a theater? more in audience than on stage?
Each "star" has many many followers ie a huge base.....
Does that make sense?

ie share 80% rewards pool with commenters / viewers & steem will grow HUGE...... IMHO :-)
