Background Apps

Be on the lookout for apps that are less useful but keep running in the background. They exhaust the battery faster as they may always be activated. To check for them, use your device’s app manager. Screensavers also use up battery easily.

When the brightness of your phone is set to a very high one, it consumes battery power as fast as possible. To protect your phone’s battery, lower the screen brightness to a minimal one.

4G Network

4G network consumes more power than 2G and 3G although it is faster. But to use this, you have to turn on your data connection. Turning on your data connection drains battery power in a capital way. So, if you are not doing anything-downloading or streaming, turn off your 4G network or switch to a less consuming network.

Some apps make use of some features on your phone which in turn drains the battery. Apps like gaming apps or camera- enabled, audio / video related apps consume battery than normal use.
