Helpful Steemit Services + Gaming the Day AwaysteemCreated with Sketch.

Hi everyone. I hope you had an awesome day :)

So, I know I said I was going to post my freewrites today. Well, I got a little sidetracked by the new game I'm playing, Final Fantasy 14. I was planning on just finishing a particular part, but quests kept coming up and new things were unlocking, and before I knew it I had spent 7 & 1/2 hours playing. It definitely wasn't how I intended to spend such a major chunk of my day, but nowadays, being unemployed, I lose track of time very easily because there are so few hard deadlines. Honestly, it feels like it's kind of driving me crazy, but doing fun things help. I need to just be better about scheduling things. But then I over schedule myself, and feel bad that I didn't accomplish everything I wanted to. Sometimes it gets into a dark spiral, where I feel bad about not doing enough, and that makes me do less stuff. But I'm working on it. Little improvements.

I have spent the last hour and a half responding to comments on here. I think I got to pretty much everyone. If I missed anything, I apologize, but I'm likely not going to search back through my notifications again.

On that note, if anyone is needing a notification system for Steemit, I highly recommend @ginabot. You do need to have a discord account, but it has made it way easier to track things on the platform.

The @partiko app has also been incredibly useful. In face, I use it exclusively for my interaction with the Steem blockchain. As far as I'm aware, it is the only interface that rewards you for using it. If that's not true, I'd love to hear what other ones do.

Oh, and a general note of some other useful stuff.

-@schoolofminnows is a support bot service that helps utilize your unused voting power to spread upvotes around. The team who created it is awesome, and are doing a lot of great work with @freedomfirst and @dconnect
-@dustbunny is like the dustsweeper service, but free to use. @fraenk has put a lot of work into it, and it is a helpful service to allow your upvotes to actually count for something
-@upvotebank also uses your unused voting power. I haven't tried this one out personally yet, as I don't want to interfere with how the schoolofminnows bot handles things, but if you're finding your VP hits 100% regularly this might be worth looking into.

Do you have any bots or services that you find helpful for the Steemit platform? I'd love to hear about them.

I'm retired, and I enjoy games also, I would play Skyrim for hours, still have now found everything and still like playing it. Fallout Las Vegas ranks up there for keeping me entertained for hours also,. I like these open world style games. I never got far on Final Fantasy XIII, but it was the first in that series I bought so it may be because I am not used to the game style. I have recently gone to the used game store and picked a few older X-Box games up, My PC is mostly just for steem now. I tried Knights of Anmur, not to bad, and then fable 2. I liked fable 2 sort of, so got Fable 3 at the store not to long ago, it is okay also.

You may need to set an alarm clock to let you know time to do something else, like eat or check steem messages.LoL.
