Ingredients:
500 grams chicken
1 piece of lime
2 pieces of bay leaf
2 stalks serai digeprek
700 ml coconut milk
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp granulated sugar
1/2 tsp bouillon powder
5 tbsp vegetable oil
Puree:
4 grains candlenut
6 grains of red onion
4 cloves garlic
1 tbsp coriander
1/2 tsp cumin
20 cm turmeric/saffron
4 cm galangal
How to make:
Cut the chicken into pieces and wash it clean then rub with lemon juice for 15 minutes.
Heat the oil and then Saute seasoning smooth, Bay leaves and Lemongrass until aromatic. Enter the chicken, stir-stir and then cook until it changes color.
Pour the coconut milk, stir-stir and give the salt, pepper, bouillon powder and granulated sugar and then cook until the chicken is tender while stirring occasionally.
Once cooked, lift and pour it in a bowl with a sprinkling of fried shallots on top of it and then ready for serving.
