Tirumala which is on the top of the seven hills is a famous temple in Andhra Pradesh state of India.
The Ghat starts from Tirupati which is medium sized but very famous city. Devotees used to trek 8kms uphill to visit the temple when there was no road way. Now there are two road ways which are one ways to prevent accidents. A large number still trek on their feet and this has to be ideally done without footwear. I myself been thrice by foot.

It is the most visited temple in the world and was the second richest after The Vatican city up until the treasures were found in Shri Padmanabhaswamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
It is beautiful and serene up the hill at Tirumala and worth a visit if you happen to travel to this part of the world. The amazing thing is once you are in Tirupathi, everything is free, the bus journey up the hill, the accommodation, the food and the return journey. Ofcourse there is a premium service for all these if you are willing to pay. Very unfortunate but this happens.
Have a great time
