If you're making any snide comments about people dying in that submarine, or that this says something about rich people in general, please extract your head from your ass hole.
To believe that the actions of any one person, or any small group of people, tells you something about the group as a whole, is to embrace the same mentality as every racist, sexist, and bigot in human history. All you're doing is repurposing the mentality to attack a group that you personally regard as being fair game.
Seriously, what is this bullshit?
I have camera envy in spades in regard to Clyde Butcher and Bill Hao. The only reason why I'm not at least trying to do what they're doing is because I can't come close to affording to do it. If Bill Hao were to die today because he spent too much time breathing in the chemicals in the bus that he bought to turn it into a massive, mobile, wet plate darkroom, it would be pretty far from my mind to take any fucking pleasure in that.
Most rich people got rich because they have been important components in making something that you wanted to buy.
If you were to ever get rich, you might wanna go see the Titanic. If James Cameron died in one of his underwater expeditions, y'all wouldn't be joking about it. Maybe, if you got rich, you'd spend the money on something else; but, I wouldn't be making jokes if you died in a plane crash on a private jet on the way to Monico.
I'm sure a lot of people are gonna tell me that, if they did get rich, they'd give it all to the poor and use all their money to make other people's lives better. Well, if that's the angle you're gonna take, I'm just gonna tell you that you're lying. Yes, I know you're lying. No socialist who has ever gotten rich in history has gotten the bag of cash and threw it into a homeless shelter.
You get a billion dollars, yes, I'm certain that you'll be treating the hell out of yourself. You can feel free to prove me wrong if you ever get that bag. Until then, I don't believe in your moral superiority.
