While there has been incredible hype surrounding Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and blockchain-related technologies this year, it is undeniable the focus has been on cryptocurrency and the massive influx of money into the cryptocurrency markets.
However, as an engineering student, my primary focus is on the underlying technology behind Bitcoin – the blockchain, and it’s potential for real-world application. I am very excited and proud to announce that I will be attending The North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami in January, where my primary focus will be on learning more about the underlying technology behind Bitcoin, networking with key players in the space, and looking to find others who are interested in applying these systems to business and customer use cases.
Following graduation, I will be working for Citrix Systems as a Technical Analyst under their Leadership Development Program in Ft. Lauderdale, where I will be learning about the underlying frameworks of the internet, and studying and applying blockchain projects in my free time. If anyone is interested in hacking something together, please feel free to reach out and I would love to collaborate.
I look forward to joining all of you at TNABC 2018.
