Last night I attended a regular Mandarin Toastmaster event. I took the role of Timer.
Timer: The timer is responsible for monitoring time for each meeting segment and each speaker.
昨晚我参加了新加坡华语讲演会的一次例常活动，并担任计时的工作。
计时：负责控制演讲时间。每个讲演、评论都有严格的时间规定；一旦超时，必须立刻结束演讲。

This is my seat and the timer machine.
这是我的座位，和计时器。

The regular event was placed in a classroom. This is the area of audience and the stage.
讲演会的固定活动地点是一个阶梯教室。这是观众区和讲台。

There are much more English Toastermaster Club than Mandarin Toastermaster Club in Singapore.
在新加坡，英文讲演会的数量远大于华文讲演会。

华文讲演会四不讲原则：不讲有关色情、政治、宗教、商业目的的话题。

This event is hold on every second/fourth Tuesday of the month, 730pm to 10pm.
华文讲演会的活动为每个月的第二、四个周二，晚上七点半到10点。
