Shalom Chaverim, my name is Clint Groves. I’m currently a single 36 years old, coming to you from quarantine in Tobago in the Caribbean. I am so blessed to be a part of Holy Language Institute and Yeshua Groups.

My walk began at the early age of 11. I was on fire for The Lord. I was baptized at the age of 12 and would talk to anyone about Yeshua that would listen. School was my personal “territory.” I conducted many Bible Studies with classmates at lunchtime and recess. I just loved it!

I grew up as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, however, I always had a deep love for Truth. It wasn’t long before many of the things I was learning didn’t line up with what I was reading. If you know anything about Jehovah’s Witnesses you know they know their bible but most, if not all, of their teachings are based on what I call one verse theology. That is probably why I love Holy Language Institute so much because I appreciate how Izzy approaches God’s Word with reverence and sincerity. I don’t believe anyone with a deep desire for truth and only truth could truly understand The Word without approaching it from its original Hebraic context. The Bible was written by Jews for Jews. Our Mashiach is a Jew. It’s that simple! Anyways let me stop before I go off on a rant.

Getting back to my story. It wasn’t long before I became very disillusioned with this thing we call Religion. In my quest for Truth I began to search for ways to learn Hebrew because I was tired of relying on man to tell me what the Bible really says. I started with eTeacher (Hebrew University) Online. But the cost was too much for me to keep up with. Then I found Izzy. I was finally getting somewhere. In the background of this time my father dies and I returned back home to take care of my mother. I was amazed to find out that like me, she had come to the same conclusion as me and had already begun to follow some of the same teachers as I. In her own way, she was learning Torah and learning the significance of the Feasts.

Fast forward a bit. We both felt the need to do more. With much prayer and fasting together and with the leadings of Ruach HaKodesh we set out on a mission to bring Torah to Tobago.

We have a small Ministry here in Tobago. Things have kind of slowed down since this whole Corona thing, however we have the confidence that Yeshua as the Head of the Congregation will work everything out in His due time. I actually spoke to Izzy some months back about volunteering but for whatever reason it was put on hold till such a time as this.

The Idea of fireside stories gets my spiritual juices flowing. We won’t be able to have them fireside here because of restrictions but we will be doing “Poolside Stories.” We will only be between 3-5 persons for now because of the current world climate, but I would like to see if I could do some Facebook live videos to see if we could reach more people.

I am excited to see what the future holds for me and look forward to standing in the gap alongside my fellow Brothers and Sisters as we press on to the return of our Mashiach Nagid.

Please pray for us that we can find more like-minded people who are hungry for truth and ready to be Ambassadors for The Kingdom here in Tobago. If I left anything out do not hesitate to ask... I'm an open book.

If you would like to Check out our Ministry:
My ministry is called Hineni Shelacheni, which means “Here I am, Send Me”. That’s our Motto because we are always ready for any assignment from Yeshua.
