So, this is my first full day on Steemit and I love it. I figured I would share with you all what I did today. I do a plethora of things (I am sure you will soon see), and always interested in learning something new. So, today a friend had to put a new roof on a section of a building, and asked if I wanted to tag along.
So we started off by going to a few stores to get the materials for the job. My friend had asked for "mo-bit" and the store associate required elaboration. "Torch down" he said, and soon we were on our way to get propane.
The seams are extremely important, as this roof should be able to accommodate pooling water at all times without penetration.
I was informed that the job is not done yet. You are supposed to wait a few months, then apply aluminum roof coating. That is to reduce the harsh UV rays from reducing its life expectancy potential.
Nice! I love it
