It's my first time to join a beauty pageant. This is not actually an official beauty pageant but just a screening for the council to choose as to who will represent the university in the upcoming search for the next university queen 2018. It was a great experience, from 8 candidates we went down to two and was asked with various questions. The judges, as well as the audience were greatly amazed as to how i handled the question and answer portion knowing that it was my first time. I scored high during the question and answer portion, the overall scoring is in my favour but they have to choose the other candidate as she did really well in exhibiting how a beauty queen walks. It was my first time and is really a memorable experience, at least i was able to showcase my hidden talent and conquer my fears through the help of my colleagues who showed so much support. I still have next year and i am looking forward for it. I guess i have to start preparing as soon as now.
