We Are Connected and Separate - Together Alone

This theme is coming up in my life over and over. In what ways do we impact each other and in what ways am I a unit responsible for myself.

In the new world of Quarantine,I can not make choices that have no impact on others. I'm told and I mostly accept the right thing to do is to stay in my home, not just to keep myself safe, but also others. With my own health, I could choose to take the risk and be active, social and out there in the world, but we can not make these choices without the potential of risking others. For a time, most seem willing to obey. For how long remains to be seen.

At some point life will need to resume and people will become more and more willing to carry on with life despite our fears. Just as we drive each day even though we are much more likely to have an accident than to have a severe or deadly case of CoVid19.

Steem vs. Hive

One of the ideas that appealed to me regarding crypto was the idea that my actions would be my own. So, would yours. However, the Justin Sun purchased showed we are all connected and it goes well beyond the reward pool. Those who choose to make forks had the ability to impact us all and they did.

It's been difficult to support the decisions and also accept the results and disappointing in the sense that it is a truth that cannot be unlearned. DPOS projects with a small market cap are subject to changes in direction and even secretive decisions.

I'm taking my time to process that and determine how I feel about it.

Really, I think travel, internet, etc. Has proven how much we impact each other in ways it was more difficult to see before.
