Topic: The war of worlds is coming
Yea! Next colony is evolving... Right now people who started early have already built ships, discovered new planets, strengthened their forces. All in preparation for space battles where the strongest contender wins it all. This is where we will see hostile takeover of valuable planets and resources by stronger forces. This is where the strong will prey upon the weak, and where the weak will form alliances to resist the onslaught of the strong.
Right now, there are those that have space domination in mind, they are aiming to be the super power in space, that is why they are already building the mightiest ships in next colony, the dreadnoughts,
When the battle for space supremacy begins, what happens to smaller growing colonies? How can one protect themselves now from future invasion and hostile takeover by stronger forces?
A good strategy is to build a very strong defence right from the start.
So as much as building your mines is important, deploy the mined resources into protecting your planet. Build up your shields and your bunkers... This will keep most predators away while giving you space and time to build up your ships to join the war of the worlds.
