Topic: How do I delete categories & categories groups?

Hi all,

I dont see the option delete category or category group. I figured out the modify order, what also doesnt always work (it jumps back)

Happy to be testing this new product, but still very bugy :)

Hi, sorry we haven't replied this is, another feature we need is to notify the admin when people post on their forums :)

Currently the only way is to hide the category:

Groups that don't have categories will be hidden by default, you can also rename groups to something else.

Bear in mind you can't rename category slugs, but you can rename the category title.

Topic: TokenBB takes a long time to load.

One of the things that you guys can improve is the speed of the websites that use TokenBB.

Sometimes my sites take so long to load that people who visit may not have the patience for it to load, and they might just exit the site out of impatience or from thinking that it doesn't work.

This is especially true if the website isn't cached on that device.

Topic: Enable Images for Categories & Topics.

I personally want to enable images for Categories & Topics on Humanist.xyz and I think it would add a lot of vibrancy to many of our forums.

It would still be much different than traditional DAPPs like Steemit since the content would be organized differently and enabling this feature might attract a lot more TokenBB users + forum creators who wouldn't otherwise be interested in using forums 👍😄

Yes images could be interesting, we have to be careful though because if forum owners aren't as diligent as you and don't put in images and some random default image appears it may not look nice, so I would suggest we have the option in admin settings to turn images on/off. If you have alot of categories it will be hard work uploading all those images.

It probably won't be a priority feature as we need user profile pages, category watch and notifications, forum directory etc, but will keep it here to refer to later.

Topic: The code doesn't seem to work.

I am trying to center the images and the hyperlinked word "Source" below each image in the content section of my post:

The Pursuit of Happiness | Better than Happiness

But TokenBB deletes the code and each time I add it and save it.

This is a small feature to fix but I would still find it useful 👍

P.S. I added a "." In the code I typed here so it would display properly in this post, but I didn't include the "." when I was trying to center the images on The Pursuit of Happiness post.

Topic: Forum Administration and Forum Listings

In forum administration, in regards to topics and categories, it would be nice to be able to reorder the categories. Change them up in where they show.

Second suggestion is a list of specialty forums. Like have a list of forums dedicated to art, another list for blogs, another list for general forums, another for tech forums, etc. Would make it easier for people to find a forum that best fits their niche or multiple forums for them to utilize for multiple interests.

Hi @outtheshellvlog, in the admin panel https://buildteam.tokenbb.io/admin/categories you can click the Modify Order button and then you can move the categories and and down by dragging, the groups also will have up and down arrows.

Yip we have someone on the task of forum a explorer list, I want that feature badly too :)

I understand that permalinks on the Steem blockchain cannot be changed but I would like to edit Topics much like I can edit titles on Steemit.com.

This issue has popped up for me more than once and the current issue that I am experiencing is a misspell in the title of one of my important posts:

Topic: How to create a Steem game?

I'm a screenwriting senior in college and love using Steem for games. I wonder if anybody knows about relatively easy methods or guides to create one of these Steem games like Holybread. I imagine if there was a game that focused on storytelling it might be able to draw in a bunch of new people, plus it would be fun to write. I know a bit of coding, Java mostly, but not nearly enough to create one of these games without a guide of some sort.

If anybody has ideas or suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

I assume this is because of the low Steem price. If Steem price ist higher, lessees get more curation, higher return, so they are willing to pay more themself.
