This photo is of our brandywine tomato which dates back to the late 1886 .

This is the first time we have tried this type of tomato and are not sure what to expect.

They are a large, beefsteak shaped tomato that set one or two per cluster and ripen late in the season.

So far we have small tomatoes growing and still lots of flowers coming.

Have a great weekend gardening, it should be a great weekend for it.

all the best

I haven't tried this variety yet, although I do prefer heirloom. Looking forward to seeing how it performs over the season.

I have never tried it before either Sharon saw it and said I want that one lol So far so good, but time will tell

Nice and healthy looking plant! Let it grow... :)

Thanks Paul, it is looking good so far
