Thanks for contributing, Anonymous Scot. You are right about how we luckily are not flooded (yet) with the extreme sides of mass illegal immigration to this nation and yes we do have Muslims peacefully living here and yes, there are isolated instances where the extremists are exposed for committing crimes against others. But still, including with what happened with Count Dankula last year even still to this day, which I personally was completely disgusted at even if I don't agree much with his views on everything, we, at least some of us, are beginning to see the SJW (I personally refer to them as FMSJDs - Fake Mental Social Justice Defenders) Agenda happening right in front us such as wanting to regulate video games and enforcing the hate crime laws further (there's a reason the 'Dear Haters' video got much more dislikes than likes on YouTube). I have to say the position we Scots take on Freedom of Speech is rather hypocritical - we believe in the right to speak freely as long as our words don't offend someone else (well what do you get offended at? Nowadays, probably everything!). I often hear my fellow men and women saying, "there has to be a line drawn in what we say" and yet they still make bawdy, cheeky, dry, naughty, occasionally near-the-knuckle jokes whether it be in the pub, at parties, the workplace, clubs of every kind, fitness sessions, the locker room, comedy clubs, social media, formal speeches (at least at the lower level) and at entertainment shows. To slightly drag in the words of American comedian Eddie Griffin without taking his whole routine out of context, "I say who gives a f#@k about who the messenger is, did you get the message?", would have probably been the exact question I would have enquired my fellow Scotsmen and women at that point. Especially a certain SNP politician called Humza Yousaf, who back when he first became an MSP in 2012 was quoted in a newspaper as saying that 'you need to have a thick skin to enter politics' and yet what is he doing nowadays? He's helping to strengthen the controversial hate crime crime laws. There was one moment a few years back where the Scots revolted against bad anti-free speech laws which was the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act successfully (which the SNP continue to push to this day) but that seems to be it. When I hosted a protest against the EU Copyright Directive at the top of Buchanan Street in Glasgow, it was NEVER mentioned in any of the local mainstream media outlets at all and it didn't help that we have local flyposting laws which apparently prevent the posting of even genuine posters anywhere in public (on that note, why isn't Extinction Rebellion facing fines by Councils over advertising of their protests?) so this meant we only had 13 people turn up in total but still it was a good day. 1 French guy called Po (at least that's how I spell it?), 1 young black English guy and some Polish people turned up too. Some of the friendly curious pro-independence supporters that passed by us were completely surprised to learn about what the Directive was really about. If I were to put the posters in the windows of private businesses with their permission, I would probably end up in a long conversation with the owners because they simply would not have a clue about the Copyright Directive at all and/or would think the only reason I am advertising the protest is because I am a Tory/Unionist (of the UK when in reality I am a pro-independence supporter)/Racist/Sexist/Bigot/Xenophobe. As a young man who likes to voluntarily litter pick in West Dunbartonshire, I am also increasingly skeptical of the Global Warming caused by CO2 Emissions narrative and is also worried about the Agenda 21/2030 plan being put in place by our spineless politicians. Even though the local MP for West Dunbartonshire is of the SNP, he is really an establishment sellout like the rest. I once met in a library in Dumbarton to discuss censorship and throughout the discussion he would not speak about the merits of free speech at all and kept dismissing me when I provided several examples of things that are true and have been highlighted by the mainstream media but have been dismissed as fake news and he kept on saying, "it depends on your perspective". Says the same guy that wants to support the wars abroad and even push WW3 with Russia if necessary. That's partly why I left supporting the SNP & the Greens and have recently joined the Scottish Libertarian Party. You're right about how many Scots go into denial about our rights being taken away bit by bit by bit, even if the evidence is so blatant it's like the sun being just there. There is some hope though (literally), many people including myself turned up to see David Icke in Glasgow in November last year the room was filled up quickly and people are fighting back against corruption especially with saving Loch Lomond from Flamingo Land being built on it. Keep going pal, we need each other to get everyone awakened.
