Greetings, travelers!
I've been a Telegram user for more than 8 years, thanks largely to my dear cousin Danilo, but also because it is a fantastic and innovative communication tool. I find it intriguing how the green-colored alternative remains so prevalent, even though it is, in my humble opinion, substantially worse. The launch of The Open Network (TON), an independent blockchain with extensive functionalities already integrated within Telegram, has significantly democratized the transition from Web2 to Web3.
Recently, the tap-to-earn narrative has gained traction, but it's been about three months since I first played Catizen and Notcoin via the Telegram app. As always, please DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH and carefully consider the decisions you make with your time and money. You are responsible for your actions. This post is intended for entertainment as I share some of my experiences and should NOT be understood as advice of any kind. I have no professional or other business relationships with anything mentioned unless explicitly stated. The GAMEE platform, a part of Animoca Brands since 2020, has been a big player in the mobile gaming world within the Telegram ecosystem. Since its launch in 2015, GAMEE has attracted millions of users globally, amassing over 10 billion gameplays. It became the largest gaming community on Telegram, offering over 80 games that users can play directly within their chats, blending social interaction with immersive gaming experiences.
What makes it truly stand out is its commitment to bringing blockchain technology to mainstream gamers. Through its innovative play-and-own model, players not only enjoy engaging games but also earn GMEE tokens. The Wat Protocol is a significant initiative within their own ecosystem, designed to increase the utility of GMEE tokens and reward community engagement. Launched as the Phoenix Protocol, it has since evolved into a series of episodes, each offering unique ways for participants to earn WatPoints, the protocol's reward currency.
A key figure in this initiative is the WatBird, a meme character that has become the face of the protocol. Introduced in one of the later episodes, WatBird replaced the earlier Phoenix symbol and has since gained a dedicated following. The pure mining phase has ended, but right now you can still mine passively at a lower rate, and also play-to-earn in the WATbird driving minigame.
I've been driving this beautiful wooden shopping cart, but maybe with your help we could reach the lambo? (oh man i can't believe i just wrote these words lol)

Anyway, there's also a spin wheel to get tickets for real USDT money giveaways by GAMEE partners, but I've unfortunately not have been lucky enough to win any yet: maybe soon.
You can also check everything about past phases and other more specific information, including their NFT and GMEE staking campaigns, but I don't have experience in them.
Cheers! o/
