Hey guys today we are counting down "Top 10 countries that are killing the planet".Now there are several ways to damage our planet it may be Deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions, illegal fishing. These are just a few of the many ways humanity is destroying our planet. But who are the biggest culprits? Lets find out.

1-SOMALIA

Somalia has struggled with twenty years of civil war and with the lot environmental underperformers. Ecological protection has gone by the way side and in 2014 Somalia loss the environmental protection index.Somalia is on the last number on this ran of all 178 countries.

Somalian forest area has reduced to 200 sq km and 15% reduction since 1990.

Somalia is also the country who is damaging marine life at the most high rate with estimate 300 million dollars of illegal pended food significantly effect the marine life and after the tsunami of 2005 nuclear waste washing ashore lead to death of 300 from radiation posioning.

9-CHINA

According to the study by world health organization done in 2016,China is the most deadliest country for outdoor air pollution.China is responsible for 7th of the world,s death from outdoor air pollution since 2012 with over 1.5 million dying a year.

China is also the world biggest emitter of greenhouse gas with the 3rd of world,s production.The other major problem that China is imposing on Earth is its our population with about 1.5 BILLION people and according to the scientists Earth wont support its population by the year 2100.

8-RUSSIA

After with the 80 years of Soviet Union came to an end in 1991, Russia was left with severe environmental problems .Soviet union leaders have long valued industrialization and economical growth over pollution control,which became a low priority.At 4.48 percent Russia currently producing more of the Green house gas emission than the 100 lowest countries combine.And according to the climate change advocate group DARA just under '100,000' people die in Russia as a result of carbon pollution.Russia has joined the Paris agreement to curb global emission but face widespread of
criticism for their low targets.

7-AUSTRALIA

Since the European settlement in 1800s roughly 13% of Australian original vegetation has been removed to make way for agriculture land.The deforestation has increased CO2 output but it also increase underground salt content with around 7% of western Australia is suffering from high salt salinity.

Other problem is illegal fishing which significantly added to the extinction of Australian Animals.

According to the study by the Antony Waldon of Oxford University Australia is responsible for 5 to 10 percent of global biodiversity loss between 1996 and 2008.
The country is also polluter discharge over 19,000 tones of phosphorus and 141,000 tonnes of nitrogen a year into rivers.

6-AFGHANISTAN

When years of civil war were followed by an American invasion,Afghanistan,s ecosystem has been significantly degraded.In 2012 DARA identify climate change and pollution to be the country two most significantly cause of pre mature deaths.This is primarily attributed to food spoiling and water contamination and took our 90,000 deaths.Another major impact on of Afghanistan,s ecosystem is the rise of illegal hunting.Over 150 animals species are now in the verge of extinction.The country is also suffering from water crisis ,trying to provide clean water to about 77% of its population.With some efforts its now on 55%.
5-SAUDI ARABIA

As the world largest oil exporter,Saudi Arabia has contributed significantly to perpetuating a world built around oil based energy production.
the country produce 17% of global oil exports in 2015 and they are 10th biggest carbon emitter on the planet ,despite only having 14th biggest land mass. Continuous oil spill have led to 40% of Saudi coastline inhabitable.

4-INDONESIA

Despite having the 17th largest land area Indonesia in the 5th largest emitter of greenhouse gas.This can be most commonly attributed to its mass conversion of forests and carbon-rich areas known as the peat lands to make an agriculture lands.

IN 2010 DARA reported that this kind of emission of carbon is responsible foe deaths of about 150,000 a year.And currently study shows that the death toll is rise to 200,000 by 2030.
Indonesia also has the highest rate of declining species due to massive deforestation.
3-INDIA

In the last 30 years over 14,000 sq km of Indian forests have been cleared to make way for industrial projects.
Reducing Indian forestation by around 5%.Some of them is for hydro electric plant by majority of them is for mining ,fueling,coal industries at the expense of planets natural resources.

This massive industrialization also meant hat India is the home of 11 of the 20 most polluted cities on the entire planet.

It is highly due to India,s nearly 1.5 billion population and the growing average rate of 1.2 percent per annum and it is projected to over take China as the world most over populated country.INDIA is also consider as the one of the top 5 most polluted countries in the entire world.
2-USA

Despite ranked at 27th of the 2018 on environmental performance index,the US was one of the worst performers of industrialized nations.Another 2018 study of climate change rank US 56 out of 60 countries they studied.

US is also the second largest carbon emitter of the World due to its enormous number of power plants increasing its co2 emission by 14 million metric tons and leave Paris climate agreement.
1-BRAZIL

Brazil is home to Amazon rainforest,the largest rainforest in the world.
Known as the lungs of the world,the Amazon recycles carbon dioxide to produce 20% more Oxygen of the Earth.
But over 150 acres of forest is destroyed ever minute for various reasons.Over 20% of the Amazon have already been destroyed releasing stored carbon dioxide into Ozone.

Its also believed that planet looses 137 species of plants. animals and insects every single day due to deforestation. And the Brazil has the largest area of forest removed annually.
