I bought this to move a large game off of my OS SSD and it did as expected, as described. A note 3 stars isn't a bad review, 3 stars is performs as expected without any problems. A higher rating would require performing above and beyond expectations. I wish everyone would get this straight and stop giving 5 stars for something doing what it is marketed to do any nothing more. If 5 stars are given for expected performance there is no way to uprate an exceptional product which exceeds expectations. So, 3 stars, that is a good rating, period.
With WoW Shadowlands just on the horizon and the recommendation of utilizing solid state storage for the game, I decided to order this SSD to see just how much my gaming could improve (I game on an HP Pavilion Gaming Edition desktop with 1tb 7200 RPM HDD). I have used Micro SDs by this brand in the past and this SSD was def not a disappointment! Comes with Type-C converter (so do not buy a Type-C to Type-C cord like I did. The converter they supply will plug right onto the USB 3.1 end of the cord so you can utilize a Type-C port for data transfer). A leatherette sleeve is also included and works wonderfully - the drive fits nice and snug inside of it! Arrived on time and as described! For such an amazing value, you can't beat it! It gets a smidge warm when using it to game, but doesn't get too hot (do not keep it in the case when in use. It is aluminum and this will cause extra heat). Transferring files was FAST! WoW is currently over 62 GB and it transfered the entire slew of files for that, my add-ons, and WoW Classic in less than 10 mins! I highly recommend NeTac for all of your electronic storage needs. They sport a great value with quality products. 5 well earned stars!
I just got a gaming laptop and plugged this in from my Xbox and it works pretty great. I haven't had any issues and it loads games pretty fast. However, it gets very when you're transferring files or downloading games directly to it so that's something to look out for but other than that its great

Using this as high speed expanded storage on my Xbox One S, simple and straight forward to set up and use, Xbox recognized it as soon as it was plugged in. The only issue I have encountered is either the device goes to sleep or the Xbox does some sort of USB low power state and the SSD disconnects and has to be replugged in. Doesn't happen often and it doesn't happen when the Xbox is on and running. It's reduced potatoes buildings in PUBG considerably and sped up load times of other resource-heavy games like Astroneer.
I was looking for thumb drive size ssd flash drive but couldn't find one at right price range. This one is bigger than normal usb 3.0 drivers but it is smaller than portable 2.5 inch ssd. I got about 430-450mb/s for both writing and reading on crystal disk on usb 3.0 port. 500gb and $70 aren't too bad for quick use, I guess till better one comes out for similar price range. I never thought I would buy portable ssd but well.. I ended up getting one for work. :D

Functions great, gets warm during use so make sure it has adequate ventilation / cooling.Problem is the clip it comes with....it seemed flimsy, but I went against my better judgement and had clipped it onto my work backpack.It fell off somewhere, so I ended up losing the unit + my backup data.Subtracted a star for the clip... do NOT use it.
This thing is really fast. Consistently pushing qnd holding ~600 mbps. I have other USB-C gen 2 enclosures that will peak at 600 but then drop to 450 once things get going.The color cycling led is a nice bonus, but i wish it was configurable. The little plastic clip that comes with it is garbage. And I wish this had any sort of IPX rating that would even warrant clipping this thing to the outside of your bag like was shown.

Very impressed and happy with this drive! It really is so compact and light! This 500gb unit shows 477gb of usable storage space (expected and normal for all drives, not unique to this one). I did an initial unscientific test of transfer speed. I copied 9.2gb from my tablet's mSD card (not even from the tablet's internal storage) and it took about 3.5 minutes. I'm not going to judge whether this is extremely fast or slow, but IMHO this was a pretty good, acceptable result. Certainly not disappointing to me. The drive has a nice clear plastic bumper around it that does not add weight or bulk. 2 small cables are provided: usb c - usb c and a USB c - USB. Very very useful with phones/tablet and a pc, and the short length is actually a big plus in my opinion! I'm very impressed by this drive and very happy with the small footprint and extremely light weight.
Supports USB2 and USB3. Reading and writing speed is very high. While it's a SSD hard drive, but it's too light and small, very similar to flash memory but much faster.
This drive is very nice. Loading 1000 photos to a thumb drive took 60 seconds. Downloading the same files into my JOIOT 500 G took 20 seconds. I wish that I had ordered the 1TB model.
