Our two month baby likes this toy. She's learning to try and grasp and this easily lets her latch on. The rattle in the ball gets her attention well and moving it around slowly near her face lets her focus and track it as it's moved. There are screws visible while you hold it but they haven't been a problem at all and don't appear to be loose enough to fall out or cause any issues.

It's not a bad product really, but my child never found it interesting. Just like someone else said in the reviews that the plastinc band in the middle of the ball is hard and my child did end up hitting herself in the head with it, which ok not a great thing to have happen but wasn't a big deal, she cried a bit and got over it. She just never really played with it or found it intertaining in any way, but every child is different. I can't say that it's bad in the way it was manufactured or the looks or anything. We're expecting a second child, maybe he'll like the toy better.

This is one of those go to toys I get for any baby shower basket I am making. This toy is great for an early grasper to have something to play with. The holes in the ball make it really easy for a young baby to grab and to start playing with. The ball on the inside makes the perfect amount of noise to keep them interested, but to not be ridiculously annoying (I'm looking at you, super loud jumperoo).I have yet to see a baby that wasn't attracted to the colors of this ball and enjoyed playing with it. The only negative is that you are going to be spending a lot of time picking up the ball when it gets thrown. The perfect addition to a baby shower gift if you are looking for a couple filler gifts. It is inexpensive, but I can almost guarantee you the baby you are giving this to is going to like it.Highly recommend!

Other than that, it's a nice toy that our baby somewhat enjoys. If it was lighter I think it would get used more.

This tambourine isn’t as easy for my LO to hold as some of the other ones I’ve seen. He’s not even interested in it despite the fact that it makes noise. Bought another one with a larger grip and he enjoys that one. This one just sits. He likes the other Baby Einstein instruments I got him though

This is the first toy my 4mo baby has shown an extended interest in—he will sit in his bouncer shaking this thing and giggling for twenty minutes at a time. It’s somewhat big, but it’s easy to hold. He does occasionally bop himself in the face with it because he shakes it so vigorously, but I think that would be true of any similarly shaped plastic toy.

One of the elephant trunk came off the first time I washed it. Looks like it was just held on with a tiny amount of glue. Not the greatest quality but the feet rattles seem to be in good shape.

My baby uses it sometimes but I wish it could keep him occupied longer ...

My 5 month old grandaughters eyes lit up at the noise these made, she really likes them.
